Show Adsense Ads Below Post Title

In most blog templates, placing Adsense ads below post title is a good way to increase your CTR (clickthrough rate). Below are the steps on how to do it:

Note: It is assumed that you have already customized your Adsense ad unit or link on Google Adsense.

1. On Gogle Adsense, get the code of the Adsense ad unit or link that you want to place below the post title.

2. Copy the code and convert it to HTML format on Hacktrix. Copy the converted code and put in a side for the mean time (Note: Hacktrix is not in anyway associated with Blogger Counselor).

3. Go the the dashboard page of your blog in Blogger. Then go to the Design tab and click Edit HTML.

4. Before you make any change on your template, it is always a good practice to first backup your template so you can easily restore in case you accidentally mess it up. Click here for instructions on how to backup your template.

5. Going back on the Edit HTML page, click on the checkbox “Expand Widget Templates”.

6. Now find the line “data:post.body”. It should look like this:

7. Above the line which has “data:post.body”, paste the converted Adsense code.

8. Paste this line above the converted Adsense code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>

9. While this line needs to be pasted below the converted Adsense code:
</b:if>

The final code should look like this:
